Queen of Reggae, MC Njambi Koikai, is dead

The Queen of Reggae, MC Njambi Koikai, populalry known as Fyah Mammah, is dead.

Three days ago, the radio host announced her appeal for a blood donation (blood group O+) as she was admitted to Nairobi Hospital, but unfortunately succumbed last night.

She had a long, documented fight against endometriosis and used her status to raise awareness about the condition. She became of public interest after enduring painful periods for 18 years. She suffered a lung collapse during her menstrual cycle a few years ago. Prior to her demise, she had suffered from over 12 lung collapses and had to travel 8,000 miles to America to visit endometriosis specialists in Georgia.
