President William Ruto Expected To Announce Changes In The Ministries

President William Ruto is expected to name a new cabinet in the upcoming weeks.

This comes in the effort to fill the vacancy left by the current deputy president, Kithure Kindiki, as he was serving in the interior dooket. Musalia Mudavadi is currently acting as the interim cabinet secretary for the interior. Changes are also expected to be made with various expected to be fired and new ones brought. “The new Cabinet appointees will be named in a few days,” said a statehouse spokesperson.

One of the names  being rumoured to be brought in is former Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe, who served under Uhuru Kenyatta. A group of Kikuyu leaders publicly endorsed Kagwe and praised his commitment. “Hon. Mutahi Kagwe has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership, integrity, and dedication to public service. His experience in government makes him an invaluable asset to Kenya.” They said.

ODM is also rumoured to be wanting to impeach Moses Wetangula from the speaker and thus they want more positions in the ministry.
