Oktobafest Kicks Off Regional Activations in Nairobi and Eldoret This Weekend

The highly-anticipated Tusker Oktobafest regional activations are set to kick off on October 19th with simultaneous celebrations at Enkare in Kitengela, Texas BBQ in Kikuyu and Timber XO in Eldoret. Top Kenyan acts including Khaligraph Jones, Nadia Mukami and Les Wanyika are set to headline the opening events in which attendees are promised curated cultural experience as they enjoy their favourite beer.

At Enkare, Rhumba fans are in for a treat with performances from legendary Kenyan band Les Wanyika, supported by TBM Band. The night will be hosted by the lively Dee Presenter 001, with Deejays (DJ) Collo, Numz and Kyra spinning Rhumba classics to keep revellers on their feet.

Texas BBQ will host Afropop star Nadia Mukami, Arbantone sensation Fathermoh alongside MC Mido, Gudahman, DJ Gibbz Tha DaqChild , DJ Malaika and Dee Wiz, ensuring a lively mix of urban pop and Mugithi sounds.

In another phase in Eldoret, festival goers will be treated to a high energy performance by Khaligraph Jones and Afropop duo Vijana Barubaru alongside crowd favourites MC Nick The Trend, DJ Tibz, queen of the turntables DJ Pierra Makena and DJ Aleckie.

“We are kicking off our countrywide celebration of beer and culture starting this Mashujaa Day weekend with an amazing line-up and beer experience across our portfolio, staying true to our promise to deliver multiple exciting experiences for our consumers throughout October. We urge locals to show up and explore how we do beer and culture,” said Christine Kariuki, Marketing Manager, Tusker.

Tusker Oktobafest 2024 promises to be a vibrant celebration of Kenyan beer, music and culture with each location offering a distinct flavour of performances. The 1,000 KES entry fee, redeemable for any KBL beer, ensures festival goers can enjoy the best of live music and their favourite beers. This weekend’s activities mark the beginning of a series of regional activations lined up across other regions in the country, promising thrilling experiences in the weeks ahead.

As part of celebrating the month of beer, there will be a range of offers and experiences to reward beer consumers across Kenya. These promotions will include discounts, online flash sales and exclusive experiences, all aimed at celebrating Kenya’s rich beer culture.
