Narrow Escape: Larry Madowo and Team Dodge Disaster On The Road in Chad

In a heart-stopping incident, renowned CNN International Correspondent Larry Madowo and his dedicated team found themselves caught in a harrowing road mishap during their riveting assignment in Chad.

Sharing the news on Twitter, esteemed journalist Larry Madowo revealed that their vehicle experienced a tire burst while on duty in the eastern region of the country. Thankfully, Larry provided reassurance that the incident caused no injuries, and the entire team emerged from the accident unscathed and out of harm’s way.

The renowned journalist embarked on the visit to Chad recently where he had a significant encounter with Sudanese refugees. With a deep sense of purpose, Larry highlighted the pressing issue of women and children’s vulnerability within the refugee camp, underscoring the urgent need for attention and support.
