Mutahi Ngunyi Dumps Uhuru, Vows To Work With Ruto

Popular political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has dumped Uhuru and vowed to work with Ruto’s government, stating he misjudged who was going to win the 2022 elections.

In a tweet shared on his official platforms, Mutahi stated that he viewed the 2022 political scene through a dynasty lens, as he had predicted that Raila Odinga was going to be declared President, a dream that never came true.

I have defected to William Ruto. I misjudged him using the Dynasty lens. But if the facts change, you must change your mind. And only a fool does not change his mind,” said Ngunyi in a tweet.

The former Uhuru hardliner stated that, despite being Raila’s supporter, he is still the founder of Hustler Nation, and his dalliance with the handshake regime did not make him lose the title, adding that he is to complete what he started.

“I started Project #HustlerNation. Now I must complete it.” added Ngunyi

Ngunyi has been on record several times saying that Ruto was not fit to become Kenya’s president as the tyranny of numbers and the deep state would sweep him away. However, it is unclear what position the government will give him after his defection or what has been promised.
