More Than 55-Feared Dead in Londiani Accident

A tragic accident has claimed more than 55-lives while several others are left groaning in pain and agony in Kericho county health facilities.

This occurred after a truck lost control and rammed into several pedestrians, business persons and several vehicles that were parked by the road side, at Londiani Junction along the Nakuru-Kericho Highway.

Report by eye witnesses reveal that the truck driver was making available attempts to miss hitting at a bus that was parked by the road before it veered off the main road.

Confirming the incident, Agnes Kunga who is the OCPD of Londiani, said that rescue exercise is currently ongoing as tens of corpses are still yet to be recovered. According to her, more than 60-people have already been rushed to the nearest hospitals in Nakuru and Kericho for medication.
