Kenya’s loved Gengetone artist Mejja has come out to defend reason for not being able to drop a new track to his fans of late.

The artist, during an interview with popular media personality Mzazi Willy M Tuva, revealed to his fans that he is undergoing medication on his throat following consistent problems he has been lately having on that part of his body.

Further, Mejja said the problem initiated during his performance in Australia and it all started with signs of flu. Later on, the pain worsened.

I have to follow doctors instructions and avoid everything on the list including lemons, pineapples, smoke and the rest. My voice is my career.” He said.

He added.

My fans please pray for me, sitaki kuacha muziki.”

As it is expected by millions and hundreds of his followers, the musician is rumoured to be working on a collaborative track with Tanzanian fast rising artist Jay Melody.
