Media Personality Kamene Goro Silences Speculations of Being Fired at Kiss FM

Kiss FM presenter Kamene Goro has come out to silence speculations that she has been fired from the national radio station.

This comes barely three weeks ago since beautiful Kamene Goro officially announced likeliness to vacate Kiss FM, through a mutual agreement between her and the station.

However, a section of her fan base have now gone miles away spreading out rumours that Kamene is fired, citing reasons for being too much drunk and being truant to work.

Based on her words, the breakfast show co-host has made it crystal clear that her choice to vacate was out of expired contract. Nonetheless, she added that she hasn’t been willing to extend her contract further in the radio station.

“No I wasn’t fired, my contract ended and there was no need to move up with it.” She said.

Also, Kamene addressed specific accusations, saying fans do not understand a lot in journalistic world.

She wrote, “this was my dream job, but what most people do not understand is that radio is not just about talking.”

She confirmed about her sickness, citing it as one of the reasons that made her miss work at some point in her career life.

“Last year I was sick and I missed work because of it. You can’t plan sickness it just happens.I never come to work drunk, it’s impossible.” She added again.

While still trying to clarify to her fans, Mrs Kamene Goro noted that the decision to quit job at Kiss FM; aside from being on outdated contract, was influenced by the rising star of fellow former presenter Jalang’o.

Jalang’o being ambitious enough to join and succeed in the start of his political journey really inspired her, and according to her, she now believes being for herself and by herself.

“I have grown a lot and learned about things I can do.I have discovered a lot of things about myself. Jalang’o leaving made me think about self-employment, and jump at the deep end and see what I can do for myself and by myself.” She said.
