Leslie Muturi, the eldest son of Justin Muturi, has allegedly been kidnapped by the police due to his involvement in the ongoing protests against the finance bill.
According to reports, Leslie was abducted by individuals believed to be police officers. The incident took place on Saturday, June 22, in the Kilimani area. Mark Mwenje, Deputy Whip for Embakasi West in the National Assembly Minority, claims to have witnessed the abduction.
Mwenje reported that men dressed in plain clothes forcibly removed Leslie from his car and drove away with him.
“My friend Leslie Muturi’s son, Justin Muturi, AG, has just been kidnapped by the police right here on the road. I was the one following him. This is his car. The police have taken him. We are here, and we will find you guys,” Mwenje stated.
