Leaders Mourn Demise of Moody Awuori’s Daughter

Kenyan leaders have mourned the former Vice President Moody Awori’s daughter Marya Elizabeth Adjibodou, following her demise on the evening of June  6, 2023.

KANU party chairman Gideon Moi at the forefront, took a heartfelt condolence message on his Twitter handle describing the incident as a painful loss to the bereaved family. According to Gideon Moi, Maria was a diligent staffer whose work as a Principal Assistant Clerk was truly remarkable.

“In deed, no words can express the pain of losing a child.” Read in part of his tweet.

The National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula on his side, sent a message of condolences to the Awori family, friends and the Parliament fraternity. He Eulogized Adjibodou as a committed and zealous person and one who had a deep sense of patriotism.

“I am deeply saddened to learn of the sudden demise of one of our staff Marya Elizabeth Adjibodou. We will miss her great depth of knowledge, positive orientation, sharp-wittedness and resilience,” he said.

“Rest In Peace Maria.”

May they find solace in God and the cherished memories they shared as a family.
