Lawyer Steve Ogolla Comes Out To Defend His Wife, Cebbie Koks, From Social Media Trolls

Akothee’s brother-in-law, lawyer Steve Ogolla has come out to rubbish claims that they are experiencing financial constraints after his wife, Cebbie Koks Nyasego, faced online trolls for furnishing their house. He stated that Nyasego did so to her liking as she wanted to offer help as a wife.

In his Facebook account, he shared a photo of Nyasego seated on a brown couch as he lamented on the trolls she is facing. Ogolla stated that he grew up underprivileged and their parents had to wait until 2017 for him to give them a decent life. He later built four identical two bedroom houses for him and his brothers. The newly constructed houses had all the required amenities including piped water which would help them to live in dignity, and without distinction based on income.

He further stated that recently his wife took her time to decorate and furnish the house and this has made her to face trolls on social media as other cook gossips and rumours. The lawyer lamented on how people are hypocrites as they never wish good things to others.

“The reality is that most people don’t get to grow up privileged. Our parents had to wait until 2017 to get a decent house. My brothers endured until 2020 when I built 4 identical 2-bedroom houses, connected electricity, piped water, and other modern amenities so we could all live in dignity, and without distinction based on income.

Most recently, my wife picked the baton and furnished her house to her liking. I’m surprised, even amused, to learn that social media trolls accused her of supporting her husband, while others are still stranded at the margins of time cooking all sorts of juicy gossip.

In life, people cheer you when struggling, but once you make it, they wish you didn’t. Strange. They will say nasty things just because you are breathing. Netizens flocked on the comment section as most of them supported his statement. Nyasego also reacted to the post where she stated that she is a 21st century woman who is trying to make things better than she found them. She playfully asked what the lawyer wanted as he should command and she’ll do it.

“Like a 21st century woman that I am. I went to school to make things better than how we found them. And things include my family! You are my family Papushka! What do you want? say it ! I will do it ???,” Koks commented on the post.

It has being rumoured that the couple is currently residing in an Airbnb where Nyasego transferred all her furniture to Ogolla’s house. Nyasego has being dismissing the claims before her husband recently joined her in clearing the air on the issue.
