Kenyans have once again demonstrated their true love to renown Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, gifting him huge sum of money on his womb escape day.
Expressing his overwhelming joy via his socials, the lawmaker thanked his followers within the country and abroad for showing undying love and outpouring support to him.
Even as he wished himself a happy 35th birthday on October 10, which coincided with Kenya’s National Holiday dubbed Mazingira Day, Babu promised to always stand by the people and to echo their voices considering them a priority.

He however pleaded with Kenyans of goodwill to stop sending him more gifts of money, urging them to utilize the money in answering some of their needs. This came even as he revealed to have received overflowing amount, staggering at Ksh.370,000 at the time he made the post.
“We are at 370K so far. I suggest you stop, please. That money, let it do something else. I really feel what you are going through as a Kenyan. God bless you all,” he asserted.
In the recent days, the MP has been too vocal, putting the government on toes acting as the watchdog of the millions of Kenya. He has been well-known to be active in playing the opposition role, most especially since the formation of the broad-based government that included a section of ODM members in the Kenya Kwanza government.
