Lusaka Named Western Region Coordinator in Kenya Kwanza Re-election

Busia Governor Ken Lusaka has been appointed the Western Region coordinator for the Kenya Kwanza coalition’s re-election campaign, in a move seen as part of a broader strategy to strengthen the ruling alliance’s presence in the region ahead of the next general election.The appointment places Governor Lusaka at the centre of Kenya Kwanza’s mobilisation efforts in Western Kenya, a region considered politically competitive and influential in national elections.

As regional coordinator, Lusaka will be tasked with uniting local leaders, harmonising campaign activities, and coordinating grassroots outreach across the counties that form the Western bloc.Sources within the coalition indicate that Lusaka’s political experience and ability to engage leaders across party lines informed his selection.
