Karen Nyamu to Appear Before UDA Disciplinary Committee Over Alleged Dubai Misconduct

Famous nominated Senator Karen Nyamu is expected to appear before the committee of disciplinary of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), following the alleged misconduct during the night party in Dubai dating back to December, 2022.

Karen, as displayed in the video clip that went viral few months ago, went inside the party and directly walked to where her baby daddy Samidoh sat.

Samidoh was in company of his wife Edday Nderitu before Karen Nyamu stormed their table and sat on the thighs of her baby daddy.

This combusted a dramatic scene that saw Edday pushing away Mrs Nyamu from being that closer to her husband.

In response, the nominated senator fought back claiming what she felt was rightfully hers.

The incident however, injured the reputation of Karen Nyamu and the public office she holds and as claimed by the political party that nominated her, she also interfered with the party’s reputation.

This incident prompt the party, through the chairman, to release a statement that asked the senator to appear before the disciplinary committee over her unexpected actions.

“In the said incident which is well captured on video that has been widely circulated in both mainstream and social media, your conduct and mannerism as exhibited in that incident have brought shame, disrepute and lowered the dignity of the party which nominated you to the office of Senator,” read in the letter that dated December 19, 2022.

However, she was given enough time to assemble and organize with her lawmakers before responding to the allegations.

She is expected to reappear before the committee today on 24th February, 2023 for the listening of the matter.
