Jarida Andayi Reveals Last Conversation with Catherine Kasavuli at KNH

Sombre mood has engulfed the entire Kenya and most especially the journalism and Mass communication field, following the demise of popular journalist Catherine Kasavuli who succumbed today at KNH. As a result, uncountable number of people have flocked social media sending condolences.

Amidst this period of mourning, those closely allied to the late Kasavuli had nothing to hide on the merry moments they shared together. Among them is veteran Radio Citizen presenter Jarida Andayi who took her pen and paper to narrate her experience at KNH hospital with Kasavuli on her social media handle.

Jerida says upon her last visit she paid to Kasavuli, she proved her faith in God even at sickbed. That Catherine Kasavuli stared at her and asked her to intercede to the Giver of Life.

Jarida, who happens to be the current manager of radio citizen, added that Kasavuli held hands with her and ironically asked God to release bulks of peace and good health to the colleague journalist.

In Jarida’s long narration,she acknowledged that Catherine passionately plead with God through prayer to bless bountifully everyone that stepped feet into the hospital to care for her during her lowest moments.

One outstanding nature of Catherine, according to the breakfast show host at radio citizen Jarida Andayi, was the fact that Catherine never look out of her faith despite being hit by the storm of sickness that has now took breath off her. She instead believed God would heal her.
