Heart to Heart Run: Gachagua and Passaris Steal the Show

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris have generated excitement among Kenyans with their dance moves. The two leaders recently participated in the Karen Hospital Heart to Heart Run, joining fellow Kenyans for the event. Clad in red tops, black trousers, and sporty shoes, they were seen smiling and thoroughly enjoying the dance. Accompanied by the popular song ‘Kuna kuna,’ the Deputy President was observed following the lead dancers, gracefully moving sideways and spinning around. Passaris followed suit, matching the same dance moves.

The online community took notice of their performance, with Twitter users expressing their admiration. One user named Shabra commented, “I think he would manage to be a good TikToker in terms of dancing.” Another individual acknowledged the improvement in the DP’s dance moves. Joining them in the dancing was Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwuor, famously known as Jalang’o.

Gachagua expressed his delight at participating in the Heart to Heart Run alongside runners of all ages, including children, in Nairobi. He highlighted the event’s significance, stating, “The Karen Hospital Heart to Heart Run has, for the last 30 years, become a symbol of compassion, resilience, and hope for children and families affected by congenital and rheumatic heart diseases.” The Deputy President also issued a challenge to other hospitals and medical stakeholders, encouraging them to follow the initiative’s example. He emphasized that such endeavors would complement the government’s efforts to provide quality healthcare to the people. Commemorating the 30th anniversary of the run, Gachagua acknowledged the positive impact the event has had on over 400 beneficiaries and their families, affirming the hospital’s exemplary leadership in this noble cause.
