Harmonize Says Diamond’s New Hit ‘Komasava’ Lacks Depth for Grammy Awards

Tanzanian Bongo fleva artist Harmonize has underated Diamond’s latest hit, titled ‘Komasava’, saying it’s below standards to win Grammy Awards.

In what seems like the rivalry between the two is far from depleting, Harmonize took a jab at Diamond for not securing this year’s nomination for Grammy awards, despite releasing songs with global appeal.

While addressing the journalists, the Konde Boy held confidence in himself, declaring that it’s only him that have all it takes to be the first artist from East African clinch the prestigious Grammy Award in music.

Directly hitting at Diamond’s latest song which derives it’s meaning from French words, Harmonize claimed that the artwork from Diamond is deficient of necessary depth to win a Grammy

“Talking about the Grammys, my response is this: if you’re discussing Grammys, then know you’re speaking to the 2025/2026 Grammy winner. Because I know what it takes to win. You can’t win a Grammy by just greeting people. You can’t,” Harmonize said.

“You need unique songwriting and production to win a Grammy. What most people don’t know is that the Grammy judges don’t care if you’re famous or not. All they care about is the quality of your work. Popularity in front of the cameras doesn’t matter; it’s your music that speaks,” he added.

Few days ago, Diamond consoled his fans over failing to make the nomination list for this year’s Grammy awards, promising to pull a surprise on them come next year’s nomination.

“When we fail to achieve something, we shouldn’t be discouraged. Instead, we should analyze where we went wrong and improve,” Diamond said.

“I always tell my team not to complain when we miss an achievement. Maybe we lack connections, or there’s something we didn’t do right,” he added.
