Gladys Wanga Hits Out at DP Rigathi Gachagua Over Flimsy Complaints

ODM party chairperson Gladys Wanga has criticized Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua over what she terms as flimsy complaints from the second in command.

While addressing a press conference, the Homa Bay County Governor stated that it was wrong for the DP to lament on live television instead of working for the Kenyans who elected him.

“If you are elected as the Deputy President, you must get serious with your work. He must be serious with his duties. We would like to see the President tour the whole country and not just camp in one region. He should know that all Kenyans elected him across the entire nation, and therefore, we should see him touring and discussing development as a whole, not just lamenting,” said Wanga.

Wanga was responding to a live interview where Rigathi Gachagua claimed he has been undermined by the President and that he no longer gets a chance to work for Kenyans because of constant harassment by those close to the President.

He further claimed that there is an ongoing discussion about removing him from the government and pushing him out of office.
