George Natembeya Calls Out Raila After His Deal With Ruto

Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya had blasted Raila Odinga for joining forces with William Ruto.

Raila Odinga signed a memorandum of understanding with William Ruto whereby the two leaders revealed they will work together to push the country forward. Speaking on Sunday, Raila Odinga said that he saved Ruto from a coup. He went ahead to tell those who wanted Ruto to go home to wait until 2027 to vote their leader they want in. The majority of the leaders said Raila is after his own personal gains and does not have the interest of the country, just months after missing the AU seat.

George Natembeya has told Raila off for signing the deal to work with Ruto. “Brother Raila, you made a grave mistake by joining the government. You collaborated with Moi, Kibaki, and Uhuru, yet no substantial change occurred. Now, you’ve joined Ruto’s government, and we have no faith that any transformation will happen. When citizens lose hope, there is nothing left for them. My fellow Kenyans, it’s time to reclaim our country,” he said.
