Ezekiel Mutua Calls Out Kenyans Celebrating Chebukati Death

Ezekiel Mutua has called out the Kenyans who are celebrating the death of former IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati.

Kenyans all over the country have reacted in different ways to the news of the demise of Wafula Chebukati. Chebukati was pronounced dead after battling a long illness. He has not made a public appearance for a long time due to the same. Some Kenyans on social media celebrated his death, as they said he was associated with William Ruto, who is their main enemy. Others accused him of helping William Ruto clinch the top seat in the 2022 elections.

The CEO for MCSK has now called out Kenyans who are celebrating the death of Wafula Chebukati. “How did we become so morally bankrupt to the point of speaking ill of the dead, to hate people to the point of wishing them death even when they are dead?I came across the unfortunate comments at the function attended by former CS Eugene Wamalwa, who was interrupted with chants of “Wacha akufe tu” when he mentioned that we had lost former IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati. Have we lost our humanity? How shall we ever regain it as a country?”He said.

However, Kenyans responded to him as they said time is gone, and they said they will celebrate someone suffering when they are associated with William Ruto.
