DJ Pierra Makena Turns A Year Older As Kenyans React At Her New Age

Kenyans puzzled after popular entertainer and Kenyan disc jockey, Pierra Makena, revealed that she has finally clocked 42 years.


The DJ shared her photo in her Instagram page as she wished herself a happy birthday. She added that she was also preparing a birthday party in order to celebrate her big day as she turned a year older.


” I woke up 42 today!!!!!
Birthday party loading…..??”she captioned the post.

Her fans reacted to the post as some wished her a happy birthday while others doubted if she is really in her 40s or 20s since she looks much younger. These are some of the reactions:

Bekiomar wished Makena a happy turning as she proclaimed blessings upon her.

Media personality, Kalekye Mumo wished her fellow a happy birthday.

Koechjoyline35 stated that the DJ looked like she had just turned 25 years.


The DJ has several other roles in the media industry which includes events planning, radio personality and actress. At one point, she lost a deal of acting in Hollywood movie after her Instagram account was hacked and she couldn’t manage to pay the frauds the amount they were asking from her.


The DJ had earlier explained her experience with her daughter’s pregnancy where she stated that once she noted she was expectant years ago, she wasn’t ready for it but she had to embrace the whole situation. She finally delivered her daughter in 2016 and she is the happiest mother ever.
