Diamond And Harmonize Bury Their Beef

After a few years of animosity, Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu has managed to bring famed Bongo Stars Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize back together. 2019 saw the Konde Gang CEO decide to leave WCB Wasafi Records, which led to the former friends growing enmity.

The artists posted pictures of themselves together at Mama Samia’s Iftar meal on their Instagram accounts. For their supporters, this is a sign that the old rivals have put their differences behind them.

Mama Samia bravely invited the two to attend a dinner she had planned at the State House on Tuesday, inviting them to attend alongside other celebrities. Watching the two artists’ reactions during the feast was the media’s main focus.

To the amazement of all, the WCB Wasafi owner and his former signee were beaming as they had a long chat. They were seen grinning broadly and laughing heartily as they shook hands.

Five years ago, Harmonize made the decision to depart from WCB Wasafi, citing unfair treatment from Diamond. Given that he rose to prominence as one of Tanzania’s most notable musicians, he insisted he should have received more from the label.

Nevertheless, having raised Harmonize’s talent to that degree, Chibu Dangote was unable to let him go. Before ending the contract, Diamond allegedly made the “Single Again” hitmaker pay an astounding sum of Sh.21 million. As a result, there was a rift between the two and they became bitter rivals.
