Davido Extends Multimillion-Dollar Deal With Sony Music

The multimillion dollar contract between Davido and Sony Music has been renewed and extended.

The multi-award-winning singer and performer David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido has once again pulled off an amazing achievement by agreeing to a lucrative multi-million dollar contract renewal with industry giant Sony Music.

Yesterday, Friday, May 19, 2023, the singer who recently released a new album titled ‘Timeless’ featuring songs such as the now fan favorite ‘Unavailable’, and his legal team BFA & Co Legal acknowledged the contract extension in numerous tweets posted to their social media accounts.

The American-born Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer recently announced details of his upcoming ‘Timeless’ tour which will run for two weeks in North America starting on July 1 in Washington D.C. at the Capital One Arena, proceed through arenas in Houston and Chicago, and conclude on July 15 in Toronto, Canada at the Budweiser Stage.

His acclaimed album ‘Timeless’ has already broken numerous records after its release on March 31, 2023 including the record for the biggest African album in Apple Music history by first-day streams worldwide, the record for the most simultaneous African songs on Apple Music’s Global Daily Top 100, with nine, reached Number Two on Apple Music’s US Albums chart, and seems to keep gaining more praise from industry leaders and fans alike.
