Comedian Mulamwah Expounds On Why He Prefers To Live In A Bedsitter.

Renown Kenyan comedian and radio presenter David Oyando alias Mulamwah, has explained the reasons for living in a bedsitter despite earning a huge amount of money.

Mulamwah remains among the few celebrities and public figures who never cares about the social media pressures of showcasing a lavish lifestyle.

In an interview with Plug TV, the comedian disclosed that he is cutting on the cost of living because he is currently constructing a multimillion mansion in his village in Kitale.

‘’It’s not like we don’t love living in a nice house; it’s just that we want to build and own that mansion first, then move inside. There is no need to live in a big house when you are alone. Just live where you are comfortable and invest the rest of the money,’’ the comedian indicated.

Almost a week ago, he shared the pictures of his two-storey building which is currently under construction and almost in the finishing process.

Mulamwah revealed that the construction process till completion will cost Sh.10Million.

The comedian has severally shared pictures of his disorganized bedsitter on Instagram which always makes his fans to wonder what kind of a lifestyle he lives.

However, he stated that he disorganizes it intentionally since that’s where he mostly shoots his content.

He also likes to spend less on rent where he used to live in a one bedroom rental before moving to the bedsitter.

Mulamwah indicated that he used to pay Sh.9,000 in the one bedroom since he likes saving and investing instead of spending money carelessly.

He lives a simple life as he is focused on achieving his goals.

In a previous interview with Churchill, Mulamwah indicated that he has also invested in the boda boda sector where he created chain of boda boda operators who always report to him on a daily basis.

“I have 15, but I have ordered two more. I used to hang out with some friends who were unemployed, and I decided to give them boda bodas so we could both help each other. In Kitale, bodaboda earns about Sh300 per day,” he said.
