Police on Monday dispersed a section of Azimio-Members of Parliament who marched protests outside the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) offices Headquarters at Anniversary Towers in Nairobi County.
The legislators demonstrated to have Ruth Kulundu reinstated to her position of IEBC deputy CEO following the interdiction over impersonation and gross misconduct.
Kulundu is suspected to have arranged a plenary meeting with the four IEBC commissioners who disputed the 9th August tally of the presidential polls led by vice chairperson Juliana Cherera, which is the authority of IEBC CEO Marjan Hussein as the substantive secretary during all commission meetings. Therefore leading to impersonation.
The Azimio leaders blamed the commission for victimising officials allied to the Azimio-OKA coalition party calling it man- hunt.
