Singer Bahati has wholeheartedly accepted Willy Paul’s apology, as seen in his long post that he made on his Instagram account.
In his statement, Bahati noted that the brotherhood they built with Willy Paul when growing in the music industry surpasses every beef they would develop in life.
Bahati acknowledged that mistakes are for human beings, and as they keep living, chances are there that they’ll brush shoulders. However, he reiterates on the necessity of forgiveness in order to protect the relationship they had built from scratch.
“My Brother @willy.paul.msafi ,Apology Accepted We are from far, We have all fought lots of challenges and great poverty in Mathare Slums to become who we are today and as we strive to rise and become great along the way we make a lot of mistakes but what matters is going back and rectifying where we think we did it wrong as our God is a God of Love and Second chances. Above all no mistake is greater than the brotherhood we share#Bros4Life,” read Bahati’s Instagram post.
The beef between the duo began when Willy Paul once said that he had a relationship with Bahati’s wife, Diana Marua.
Expressing his remorse, Willy Paul, the ‘Yes I Do’ hit-maker owned his mistakes revealing that he went overboard not to be able to tame his behavior.
“Reflecting on my time with my brother, I see that I have sometimes overstepped my bounds. I value family, especially the kids, very much. I never meant to hurt anyone, but I realize my actions were seen that way, and I truly apologize to Diana and the children for the misunderstanding. Much love,” he said.
However, Willy Paul begged Bahati and his entire family to consider his apology saying that he means well for them.
He hopes that both families can come together and spend time together, including the children, as a sign of reconciliation
