Former NTV Journalist Salim Swaleh Apologizes To Musalia Mudavadi For Breaking His Trust

Former Director of Communication in the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary, Salim Swaleh, has emotionally shed tears as he apologizes to Musalia Mudavadi for his involvement in a fraud case in his office.

In a video that has since gone viral across all social media platforms, the former NTV journalist is seen begging for forgiveness, stating that he was misled. He mentions that when they visit the court to hear his case, the courts say they have not received directions from the prosecutor on how to move the case forward, which has been straining his finances.

“I would like to beg for forgiveness from H.E. Musalia Mudavadi. I was misled and joined forces with those who were after other ventures. I have received negative publicity from the case, and even when we visit the court to determine our case, we are told the prosecutors have not received directions. To make matters worse, lawyers like this because they extort money from us, and the police are also on our necks, making it hard for us to move on. Please, I need your help, Your Excellency,” said Swaleh in a video.

The journalist was arrested along with four others for allegedly aiding criminals to access the Prime Cabinet Secretary’s office, where they were involved in a 5.8 million fraud case and were subsequently taken to court.
