Meet Stella Soi Langat, The CS Nominee For Gender, Culture & Heritage 

Stella Soi Lang’at, the nominee for Cabinet Secretary for Gender, Culture & Heritage, hails from Sotik in Bomet County. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Nairobi and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Moi University.

Mrs. Lang’at boasts a wealth of experience, having previously served as the County Secretary at the County Government of Bomet. Her career also includes roles as Deputy County Commissioner and Chair of the DP Board for the Mau Tea zone.

Her nomination to President Ruto’s diverse cabinet comes after her tenure as a director at the Ministry of Interior and Administration, where she contributed significantly and immensly to various strategic initiatives.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Lang’at has demonstrated a commitment to public service and governance, focusing on issues of gender equality, cultural preservation, and heritage promotion. Her academic background coupled with practical experience equips her well for the challenges ahead in her new role.
