Chief Principal: Let kids Use Their Phones In Class

Indimuli Kahi, the chairperson of the secondary school principals association, has sparked a heated discussion about student access to mobile devices.

According to Kahi today, evolving tendencies in the digital economy should let pupils to bring their phones to school. The truth is that technology is the way to go and it should be applied even to our education, Kahi remarked. I often say this and I am always criticized for it.

The access to the phones, according to the top principal, should be carefully controlled by teachers. The time has come for us to reconsider our student’s mobile phone use policy in schools, according to Kahi. The Machakos School principal was giving a speech on Saturday outside of a Kewota event to encourage female teachers to use technology and insurance.

Kewota launched a medical plan, unveiled a soft loans initiative for all registered members, and unveiled a significant strategy to enable its members to acquire computers at low costs at the occasion.

For instance, according to Kahi, the majority of classes were taken online during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Pupils would log in to classes using either their own laptops and smartphones or those of their parents. Students were constantly using digital platforms when schools were closed during Covid, but as soon as they reopened, cell phones were outlawed.
