13 Year Old Preacher Trolled For Sending His Mum To Fetch Him Water, Says He Was Just Misunderstood

13- year old US-based Kenyan reverend Victor Githu has been the talk of town after a video of him sending his mum to bring him water made rounds on social media attracting netizens’ reactions. A lot of people criticized him, labeling his actions as disrespect to his mother.

In the video that has since attracted mass scrutiny, the young man of God is heard asking the mom for a glass of water as he continue preaching in what looked like a usual virtual session. The mom then gets him water and sits right beside him, an incident that left people wondering if the mom was really African as her reaction to son’s request turned out to be the exact opposite of what was expected of a typical African parent.

The video shared by a TikTok user insinuated that the preacher was confident in his actions since he is monied than his mom.

In defense, Victor has clarified on his Instagram page that he asked his mom for help since he was in the middle of preaching after which his throat started burning. He further expressed his disappointment in how Kenyans rushed to judge him even after seeing how his request to mom was just a humble ask.

The 2009 born Preacher reportedly started his ministerial work at the age of five and has now earned recognition and a massive following on social media.
