Trans Nzoia Woman Dies After Lover Scarred Her Behinds With a Hot Metal

Love turns sour to a couple based in Trans Nzoia county after a 27-year-old man kills his 43-year-old lover following trust issues in their relationship.

The woman, identified as Nancy Chelimo is reported to have succumbed few days after her young lover inflicted bodily harm on her on grounds of alleged cheating.

The said suspect; going by the name Alex Chemwantei Cheroben, after questioning his fiance’s love journey with him, decided to put a red hot metal on Nancy’s ‘behind’ leaving her while nursing serious injuries that since then caused her endless pain and agony.

As reported by the Daily Nation, Nancy Chelimo sustained the scars on February 27 but assumed seeking immediate medical intervention.

The act to keep off prompt medical attention did her no good as her situation increasingly worsened few days later, leading her to her very last day on Earth.

She died on March 3.

Upon her death, a village elder reported the case at Salama Police Post after neighbours raised the alarm.

Meanwhile, the suspect is currently held at Endebess police station waiting to be arraigned tomorrow Monday 6 while the victim’s body is at Kitale County Hospital.
