“There Is A Male Governor With Gonorrhea”- Mike Sonko

Controversial politician Mike Sonko has yet again marred the social space after making some quite sensensational remarks about an undisclosed fellow politician.

Sonko has alleged that one sitting Governor is infected with Gonorrhea, the world’s second common sexually transmitted disease.

Taking to his Twitter account on Thursday night, Sonko went ahead to tell Kenyans that he would avail more details.

“Kuna a male sitting governor ako na gonorrhea. Details loading…” Sonko wrote.

The post has caused a lot of chatter online as some twitter users hitting back at Sonko by flipping his remarks against him, saying that he is the one with the disease.

Sonko’s remarks comes a few days after the announcement of an outbreak super gonorrhea.

On January 12,2022 researchers from the Kenya Medical Research Institute announced that a new strain of gonorrhea,Super Gonorrhea, which is resistant to standard antibiotics ,was circulating in Nairobi.

However, the ministry of health brought a ray of hope to Nairobians and Kenya as a whole, after stating that only one case was found in the samples they had collected.
