NTV News anchor Olive Burrows has announced her departure from Nation Media Group after a 6- year-long stint at the Kimathi Street-based TV station, NTV.
Reflecting on her time at NTV, she expressed gratitude for the opportunities and friendships she developed during her six years there.
She highlighted the station’s decision to take a chance on her, leading to fruitful outcomes both professionally and personally.
” It has been an absolute privilege working here at the Nation Media Group for the last six years,” she said. Following her departure from NTV, Olive Burrows is set to act ireplace Victoria Rubadiri, who has left Citizen TV to join CNN.
This transition was hinted at by sources familiar with her plans. Burrows has been a prominent figure in the media industry, having previously worked at Capital FM before moving to NTV in 2018. At NTV, she co-anchored news with Dennis Okari and hosted the morning talk show AM Live.
Her career highlights include being the only Kenyan journalist to interview former U.S. President Barack Obama during his visit to Kenya in 2015.
