Lulu Hassan Cautions The Public Against Frauds Who Are Using Sultana’s Casts To Con Students

Citizen TV Prime Time news anchor, Lulu Hassan, has warned the public against frauds who are using Sultana’s casts to con people.

Hassan and her husband, Rashid Abdalla are the key producers of Citizens TV Swahili series, Sultana among other Maisha Magic series like Maza.

On Sunday, Hassan shared a post on her Instagram page that stated that there is no association between Sultana’s casts, Jiffy Pictures and Royal Media as stated by a poster which indicated so.

As she discredited the poster, Hassan added that the production companies named above doesn’t ask students to pay in order to engage them in a mentorship program.

“PUBLIC NOTICE!!!!!!! Kindly Be advised that at no point is #vicworldevents related with #Jiffypictures

We ask schools to avoid engaging this particular team.

Royal Media Services /Jiffypictures will NEVER ask for money to mentor kids!!!!

Beware!!!!!” she captioned the post as she cautioned the public.

According to the poster by Vicworld Events, Sultana, Mash and Babu were set to attend the event which was to be held on March 25 at Ukunda Kids Festival.

The kids were required to pay an entrance fee of Sh.300 per head.

The fee was meant to cater for the students’ transport to and fro the event as well as bouncing castles which were brought by the organizers.

Other activities included fashion show, yoghurt game, balloon game, sack racing, tug of war, dancing chairs, rope skipping, singing and dancing.

It later turned out that a certain parent complained about Vic World Event’s organizers conning the public.

The parent claimed that the organizers conned over ten schools in Diani where they took the money and never showed up at the event.

This made the Swahili news anchor to act promptly and shared the caution statement on her Instagram page.
