Moses Kuria, a senior advisor in President William Ruto’s administration and former Cabinet Secretary, faces the auction of two apartment blocks in Ruaka and Juja, Kiambu County, scheduled for April 8 over an undisclosed debt.
The properties, operating as Briden Apartments, include a five-storey building in Juja generating approximately Sh541,000 in monthly rental income and another five-story block in Ruaka, with prospective buyers required to pay a refundable Sh3 million deposit before bidding.
The auction in question involves two of Kuria’s apartment blocks in Juja and Ruaka, scheduled for April 8 unless he settles an undisclosed debt.
Meanwhile, InvestAfrica-FZCO has been making significant moves in Kenya’s business landscape, including acquiring Kenya Orchards Ltd for an estimated Sh210 million and previously purchasing a 35% stake in Eveready East Africa.

Further connections include Kuria’s brother, Alois Kinyanjui, who owns 300 shares in Smith & Gold Productions, while Emerging Capital Holdings, wholly owned by InvestAfrica-FZCo, owns the remaining 700 shares. The UAE’s strict laws protecting beneficial owners’ identities make it difficult to definitively establish who controls
