Kenya Power has announced that an upcoming exercise will focus on customers utilizing prepaid meters, commonly known as token meters.
The power supplier stated that the prepaid meter update will be provided to customers free of charge. Additionally, customers are expected to receive two codes, namely the reset code and the update code, via SMS from Kenya Power.
“It is advised that customers ensure all tokens previously purchased are loaded onto their meters before entering the reset and update codes. This update is intended to reach a significant number of customers, specifically targeting approximately 7.4 million prepaid meters.” Said Kenya Power in a statement.
