” I Had To Get This Out Of My Chest Today,” Akothee Reveals Disturbing Details About Her Father And Siblings On Father’s Day

Renown artist and philanthropist Akothee has penned a heartfelt message for her biological father, Joshua Owino Kokeyo, on Father’s Day. At the same time, the singer revealed some unknown details about her father and siblings.

In the Facebook post, the mother of five warmly wished her beloved father a happy father’s day. Amidst the wishes, Mrs Schweitzer shared a heartfelt revelation on her siblings attempting to block their father from attending her grand wedding.

According to Akothee Safaris founder, one of her brothers boldly declared that their father won’t attend the invites-only wedding as the musician didn’t invite some of her immediate siblings. However, the artist was determined to do anything for her parents to attend the occasion. She arranged for a car to chauffeur them to the wedding as she couldn’t hold it if they missed the event. Her mother also did her part in making sure that they both graced their daughter’s bid day.

Akothee reminisced the happy moments she once shared with her father four years ago before his health deteriorated. She also missed their playful phone conversations as it have become so hard for her to directly reach him.

Akothee further revealed that her father’s health struggles made her to detach herself as she believed that his days were numbered. She acknowledged that she couldn’t believe it when her father walked her down the isle.

“I started detaching from you coz I thought your days were numbered so I tried getting myself prepared after the several attacks . But I was wrong, God has his ways of managing our fears , I couldn’t believe you could walk me down the Isle,” Akothee wrote in part.

Additionally, the flamboyant artist revealed how much she cares for her father in order to make sure that he lives comfortably. She bought him a brand new car, built him a home as well as making sure that her wardrobe is updated with warm clothes from the United States, stylish outfits from South Africa and African attires designed by a renown stylist.

Akothee admitted that she always feels weak everytime she looks at her dad’s state. She prayed for God to protect him so that he could live longer to hold her sixth baby.
