Eric Omondi Arrested After Leading Protests In The CBD

Comedian cum activist Eric Omondi has yet again been arrested while he was leading Demonstrations in Nairobi CBD.

This is after Azimio la umoja-One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga called off the anti-government protests that was to hit its fourth day since onset, today on Monday.

The comedian was taken to Nairobi Central Police Station as he claimed to be protesting against the high cost of living.

This is the fourth arrest over a period of two months preceded by three previous arrests in relation to the cost of living protests.
