Kikuyu Mugithi artist Lawrence Njuguna popularly known as DJ Fatxo has been trending this week after a young man named Geoffrey Mwathi died in the DJ’s apartment.
Fatxo called a press conference where he has addressed the murder allegations he is currently facing.
He indicated that he was the one who notified Mwathi’s family on his death.
Fatxo added that he also took a step further and reported the matter to the police.
“There is this issue going on that I did not mourn the death of Jeff. I reached out, I’m the one who actually contacted them and told them that Jeff is no more. I told them I would have supported them to bury their son,” the DJ said.
Fatxo was also forced to seek help from his mother after Mwathi’s family failed to respond and accept his help.
He noted that probably Mwathi’s mother was not notified that he had reached out to the family.
