CS Justin Muturi Urged To Resign After His Abduction Claims

Aldai legislator Kitany Marianne has urged public service cabinet secretary Justin Muturi to resign or face impeachment.

It all started in Embu during a funeral service where Muturi was heavily booed as he tried to deliver a message from William Ruto. The crowd was unhappy after one of their own, Billy Mwangi, was abducted but later released. A few months ago, Justin Muturi’s son was abducted and released in just a similar case.

Justin Muturi Muturi on Sunday held a press conference where he demanded answers for his son, who was abducted six months ago. He went on to add that once his son was abducted, he was never given any answers since “My son was personally abducted and disappeared, making us anxious, and at that time, I was the attorney general of Kenya and a member of the National Security Council.” He said.

Aldai member of Parliament Kitany Marianne has urged Muturi to resign after his incident or table a motion against him: “Resign before I table a censure motion against you in Parliament. Six months since your son was abducted, and you have not reported. You are the minister for Public Service, meaning all these people report to you, so when you go to the media, aren’t you telling us you are incompetent? What are you doing in that office? Just resign and start addressing us as a citizen. You cannot fight the government from inside. She said.
