Comedian and media personality Mulamwah has followed Eric Omondi’s steps by coming to the aid of embattled artist Stivo Simple Boy who recently ditched his management due to mistreatment.
Via his Instagram, Mulamwah shared a video that showcased his meetup with the musician alongside his wife, Grace Atieno. The comedian offered the lovebirds a total of Sh.8000 as they deliberated on how to salvage Stivo’s situation. The funny man assured him that Kenyans will come to his aid as he pleaded with the musician to avoid being choosy when seeking employment.
“Tumeongea hope mambo itakuwa sawa sasa. Support Stevo,” the caption read.
This comes days after the Kibera artist received support from the self-proclaimed president of comedy Africa, Eric Omondi. The impending father gifted Stivo and his sweetheart a bag of food stuffs as he vowed to hold their hand during this trying time. The comedian who have been in the frontline in criticizing the government’s decision on taxing content creators, promised to finance Stivo’s collaboration with various artists like “Kaveve Kazoze” hitmaker, Ngesh.
Few days ago, Atieno publicized the musician’s woes noting that Stivo’s management was mishandling him. She revealed that they were facing financial constraints among other challenges.
After ending the contract with the Men In Business (MIB) management, “Freshi Barida” hitmaker made it public that he will be managing his music career with the help of his sweetheart and some close friends. Stivo appealed with Kenyans to support him financially as well as in furnishing his house.
