After Parting Ways With Crazy Kennar, Useful Idioty Has Gained Experience On Overcoming Financial Difficulties

Usefulidioty, also known as Stephen Otieno, claimed that since leaving Tales of Crazy Kennar (TOCK) in 2022, when his brand hit rock bottom, he has been working to rebuild it. Useful Idioty had recently moved to a more expensive home before leaving The Tales of Crazy Kennar, but in order to cope, he was obliged to return to his old crib.

Useful Idioty had recently moved to a more costly home before leaving The Tales of Crazy Kennar, but in order to adjust, he was obliged to return to his old crib.

Idioty admitted during a frank interview on the Iko Nini podcast with Mwafreeka that he found it difficult to establish himself as a content creator after starting his solo career. He also admitted that before lately, he was barely making ends meet and that brand sponsorships had just begun to come his way.

When Otieno quit the TOCK group, he did not have a backup plan even though they divided the cash from several clients. He had just relocated to a more pricey home, for which he was being paid Sh15,000, before departing the organization. He was compelled to return to his previous studio apartment house in Juja, where he had previously paid Sh6,000, after losing his source of income. As he settled into his new home, Otieno intended to let his brother live in the studio apartment. He had to sell some of the things he had purchased to furnish the new home though after going it alone.

He added that MC Pau and Fred Omondi would compensate him for their assistance as well as recommend him for gigs.

“I used to MC whenever Fred or MC Pau were worn out, and they paid me from the money they received. When I left TOCK, they were crucial, he claimed.

The comic recalls that he typically divided his invoices and used the extra cash to pay for critical ones.

“To this day, the landlord is a buddy. He always tells me there is no rush when I want to leave,” he stated.

Currently, Useful Idioty is returning to rebuild his life and has plans to assist his brother in finishing college before starting to construct his parents’ Kitale home.
