Transline Bus Company Distances From Their Employee Who Celebrated Raila’s Loss

The loss of ODM presidential candidate in the 9th election elicited mixed reactions from fans of the two top aspirants, Ruto and Raila.

The viral video clip which captured Cliff Onchiri celebrating Raila’s loss minutes after the Supreme Court rulling on Monday, he was urging Kenyans to wake up since the Azimio-One Kenya leader had lost the seat for the fifth attempt. Cliff was identified from his uniform as a casual worker for the Transline Bus Company at the Afya Center office.

In a statement issued by the Transline Classic, it has clarified that the video was an individual act and not the company’s stand adding that they are in transport business and not in politics.

” As a company we wish to disassociate ourselves from the clip and state that it was done by the individual’s will and does not in any way represent the views of the company. Displinary action have been taken on the individual. We apologize to everybody especially our customers for the offending clip. As a company we are business and not politics. ” Read the statement.
