The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced the release of the 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) reports. In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, KNEC advised schools to log into the Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) portal to access the learner-specific reports.
“The 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) reports are ready and have been uploaded on the CBA portal, http://cba.knec.ac.ke,” read the statement.
The council further instructed schools that presented candidates for the assessment to access the portal and download the individual reports. “Schools that presented candidates for the assessment are advised to log into the portal and access the learner-specific reports. Congratulations to all the 2024 KPSEA candidates,” the statement added.
This year, over 1.3 million Grade 6 students from across the country sat for the KPSEA exams, which were conducted from October 28 to November 1, 2024. The exams covered various subjects, including Mathematics, English, Integrated Science, Kiswahili, Creative Arts, and Social Studies.
A total of 1,303,913 learners from 35,573 examination centres participated in the national assessment. KNEC confirmed that all candidates will seamlessly transition to Grade 7, which remains within their respective primary schools under the new competency-based curriculum.
The council extended its congratulations to the candidates and encouraged schools to access the reports promptly to support learners’ continued academic growth.
