The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) in Kenya has announced a reduction in fuel prices effective from May 15, 2024, to June 14, 2024.
The prices of Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene have been reduced by KShs.1.00, KShs.1.20, and KShs.1.30 per litre, respectively.
According to the report, the new prices in Nairobi will be KShs. 192.84 for Super Petrol, KShs. 179.18 for Diesel, and KShs. 168.76 for Kerosene. These changes are in accordance with the Petroleum Act 2019 and related legal notices, and include the 16% value-added tax (VAT) as per the Finance Act 2023 and other tax adjustments.
