City Preacher, Bishop Harrison Ng’ang’a, Founder of Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) has cautioned husband and wives to stop calling each other; daddy and mummy.
According to the man of God, referencing your couple with names designated for parents, may lead couples to lose feelings and attraction for each other due to familiarity with parents.
“When you call your husband daddy he will end up marrying someone else. How can both you and the kids call him daddy? Itabidid awaletee mama yao,” he said.
He told men to stop the habit of calling their wives ‘mummy,’ claiming that the action may bring thoughts to their wives, to make them start perceiving themselves as their husband’s mothers and not as wives.
And to people who rush into marriages, particularly men, he advised them to stay patient until they’re old enough to bear the loads of problems women offload to their men.
