Cyril Ramaphosa, the president of South Africa, has received praise from US Vice President Kamala Harris for his leadership on the continent.
Prior to their meeting with President Joe Biden on Friday morning in Washington, DC, the two met.
Vice President Harris stated, “I cannot overstate how crucial the relationship between two countries is to the people of the United States, both in terms of our security and our prosperity.

Ramaphosa stated earlier that the goal of his trip to the US was to improve relations between the US and South Africa.
According to the AFP news agency, he added that the US plays a “vital role” in preserving security in Africa.
