Diana Chepkemoi, a lady who was held against her will by her employer in Saudi Arabia received an amazing opportunity from her former school, Meru University a day after arriving in Kenya.
The Kenyan student who allegedly was detained and mistreated, got freed following online uproar calling out for Kenyan Embassy in Riyadh to intervene which they did. She revealed physical abuse she underwent in the hands of her cruel boss and requested the government of Kenya to rescue the rest who were stranded at the gulf country.
As she had earlier stated that she deferred her university studies to look for greener pastures at the foreign country, Meru University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Romanus Odhiambo confirmed indeed she was a student there and promised to offer Diana a job, accommodation and another chance to start where she left in studies.
